Remick Country Doctor Museum: Admission to this working farm museum that explores the richness and diversity of New England country life is free! Located in Tamworth a few miles from the Darby Field Inn.

Diana's Baths: This series of gorgeous waterfalls can be reached by taking a short side trip on the way to or from The 1785 Inn.

Barnstormers Theater: Another popular spot, this theater offers concerts, drama, dance performances, talks and community events throughout the Bike the Whites season. 

Schartner's Strawberry Farm Stand: During strawberry season, stop for some 'just picked' strawberries on River Road along the Bike the Whites route between the Darby Field Inn and The 1785 Inn.

Weston Farm Stand: Weston Farm is a six generation family farm located in the foothills of western Maine. Since 1799 the Westons have practiced sustainable agriculture on the rich soils of the Saco River Valley. Currently over one thousand acres are under production in timber, diversified vegetable cropland, maple sugar orchard, Christmas trees, and forage hay. One of Weston's two farm stands is located on West Side Road along the Bike the Whites route between the Darby Field Inn and The 1785 Inn.

Eastern Slope Playhouse: Located just a short distance from The 1785 Inn, Eastern Slope offers theater, dance and occasionally a Broadway musical.

Pudding Pond: The Pond is part of the Green Hills Nature Preserve crisscrossed by trails that are a great place to stroll and enjoy the scenery. Pudding Pond is just off the North South Road along the Bike the Whites Route from The 1785 Inn to the Inn at Crystal Lake.

Settler’s Green: Looking for great, tax free, shopping? There are over 60 name brand, first quality factory outlet stores located at Settlers' Green Outlet Village is just off the North South Road along the Bike the Whites Route from The 1785 Inn to the Inn at Crystal Lake.

Conway Lake: Conway Lake is a big lake by White Mountain standards, and provides miles of pine-covered shoreline filled with nooks and crannies that are fun to explore, as well as a public beach, which is a good place to cool off on a warm summer afternoon. Conway Lake is off Mill Street in Center Conway along the Bike the Whites Route from The 1785 Inn to the Inn at Crystal Lake.

Hatches Orchard: Depending upon the season, pick your own strawberries, raspberries or apples on Brownfield Road along the Bike the Whites route from The 1785 Inn to the Inn at Crystal Lake.

Crystal Lake: Guests of the Inn at Crystal Lake are welcome to lounge on the private beach and swim in this crystal clear mountain lake.

Foss Mountain: If you're up for a hike upon your arrival at the Inn at Crystal Lake, a short drive* will bring you to the base of the Foss Mountain Trail and another ten minute climb will take you to the top for a 360 degree view of the entire Mt. Washington Valley. *you can also bike from the Inn, but be prepared for a VERY steep hill!!

Stone Mountain Arts Center: Located in Brownfield, Maine, just a few miles from the Inn at Crystal Lake, Stone Mountain offers year round concerts in its newly constructed barn. Enjoy music from Livingston Taylor to the Indigo Girls to the Marty Stuart Band and comedy acts from stand-ups like Paula Poundstone (the Inn at Crystal Lake offers transportation to the venue for their Bike The Whites guests).
